PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The BCDC1225-LV is a 12 Volt 25 Amp In-vehicle dual battery charger featuring a unique multi-stage charging algorithm to charge all major lead acid batteries to a proven 100%. The DC to DC charger is suitable for vehicles fitted with an ECU-controlled variable voltage alternator.
The BCDC1225-LV dual battery charger features a lower voltage setting so it can operate with variable voltage alternators.
As a guide the BCDC1225-LV is suited for a battery bank size of 75-200AH. REDARC recommends the BCDC1240-LV for over 200AH. It will provide a unique charging profile to each specific battery type, the BCDC DC to DC Charger is able to achieve and maintain an optimal charge to all major lead acid batteries.
The DC to DC dual charger will work from a wide operating range (9 – 32V) giving the option of charging from both 12V and 24V vehicle systems.
The BCDC smart charger also features a Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) solar regulator, allowing you to deliver the maximum amount of power from your solar panels to your auxiliary battery.
The unit will act as a dual battery isolator and protect the start battery, should the voltage get too low.
